Balloons Over Anderson Hot Air Balloon FestivalNovember 2, 3 & 4, 2012 Anderson Civic Center 3027 MLK Jr. Blvd. Anderson, South Carolina 29621 Come enjoy an old-fashioned, fun-filled weekend as 25 hot air balloons take to the air at Balloons Over Anderson! Take a hot air balloon flight, a tethered balloon ride or stroll through the festival and enjoy the other activities. Have a relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner with our food vendors while watching the beautiful hot air balloons. Five balloon flights are scheduled and one dedicated balloon will be providing tethered balloon rides all weekend. One evening glow is planned for Saturday where all balloons will inflate and illuminate the night sky. Balloons Over Anderson has also developed a scholarship program in conjunction with the local Civil Air Patrol. The intent of the program is to provide educational funding in the field of aviation for youth members in the Civil Air Patrol.
